For years, we have been brainstorming ways we can reduce waste and up-cycle leftover fabric from scarves. Creating scrunchies was the best way to use even the smallest pieces of fabric! Check out a few of our options and you just might recognize past scarf designs...
These scrunchies come in packs of three.
1) Bright - radiant shades of yellow, orange, and blue
2) Dark - rich shades of blue, purple, and red
3) Assorted - mixed bright and dark shades
Impact: Your purchase contributes directly to the wages of each woman—100% of proceeds are reinvested into the young refugee women in RefuSHE's Artisan Collective. All fabric is hand-dyed using a traditional African dyeing technique called resist-dyeing. Because every piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, the pattern or color may vary slightly from the photos here. Each product comes with a tag signed by one of our artisans, as well as the story of the Collective.
Fabric: Cotton/rayon blend that's incredibly soft – seriously, we've been told it too many times to count.
Caring for your scrunchie: RefuSHE scrunchies will not lose color when properly cared for. You can wash by hand or machine and hang dry. Do not store scrunchies in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
