Story:The Nafisa Charcoal scarf is named after one of the bright leaders in RefuSHE's artisan collective, and is part of theShibori Collection–a special celebration of the colors and sentiment of daily life in East Africa, which honors the centuries-old Japanese dyeing method of Shibori. This scarf comes in purple, indigo, charcoal, and hibiscus, with either fringe or sewn edge finishing.
Impact: Your purchase contributes directly to the wages of each woman—100% of proceeds are reinvested into the young refugee women inRefuSHE'sartisan collective. Because every piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind, the pattern or color may vary slightly from the photos here. Each product comes with a tag with the name and country of origin of one of our artisans, as well as the story of thecollective.
